Experience with great-cancun-vacations.com??

We are booking a trip to Aventura Spa Palace and have gotten varied price quotes. The cheapest is with www.great-cancun-vacations.com
I am wondering if anyone has experience with them-are they legitimate? Did you get what you paid for?
They charge a registration fee of $200 which is non-refundable and are still cheapest.
Thanks!

what do you mean by registration fee? just an fyi...I did a search on the internet and actually got a quote that was $200 cheaper than what they gave me (I'm still trying to figure out how legit hotelocity.com is but it's worth checking out)

You pay them $200.00 which is non-refundable and then you fax your credit card to palace resorts for the room fee. I assumed that it is their booking fee for using their member number. I did check out hotelocity and at 1st glance they appear cheaper. However, when you go to book the room you will see that the rate is for single occupancy and you have to add a surcharge for the additional person of $45.00 per night whoch actually makes it more than the rate I received from great cancun vacations.
We just booked with great cancun vacations and are waiting for our confirmation. We are going the end of April. I can let you know if they were OK.

so I can get this straight (what can I say, I haven't had my morning coffee yet)...I got quoted 2600 for 10 days, now is that 200 part of the 2600 or does it bump my total cost up to 2800?

thanks!!!

You should verify with them but the total price they gave me was inclusive of the $200. We were quoted $2284 for the week-Pat from great cancun vacations explained that we send a certifed check or money order for $200 to them and then we faxed a form to palace resorts with our credit card number for $2084.
That is a very good rate for 10 days-we are going the last week of the "high season" but after April 29th the rates drop.
Hope this helps!

Be thankful i clicked on the wrong link and ended up here in Latin America instead of the cruise section (lol)...

We used them in November of '02 for our stay at the Moon Palace. I too was skeptical of the great price, but all went fine and smoothly. Pat was great and answered all my questions (and there were A LOT of them).

I'd have no problem recommending them for others to use, and have done so. I'll check back here in the next few days, so if you have any add'l questions, feel free to post and i'll reply.
