Full prepay at booking/What happens if i cancel?
One last question regarding the hotels please! We've decided to stay at the Hyatt.I want to book through their website and says "Full Prepay at Booking : $50 Cancel Fee If 72hours Outside of Arrival Date : One Night Room/Tax Cancel Fee If Within 72hours of Arrival Date."
I'm wondering.. if they charge the credit card the total amount the minute you book, then if i cancel after 10days what happens? They put the money back to my card?

No matter when you cancel, even if it is 5 minutes after you book, it sounds like they charge you $50. If give more than 72 hours notice, that is all you get charged. If you do that, make sure you get cancellation number when you cancel and make sure you know if you must cancel on website or over phone.
If it is closer than 72 hours to time of visit, they charge you for one night.
Sometimes with credit card cycles, the charge may appear one month and the credit does not show up until the next.

Hello Crstine, from what you are saying if you book a room with the Hyatt and you cancel the room you will be charged $50.00. HOWEVER, if you cancel the room 72 hours or later before the day of your room reservation you will pay the amount of one night room fee including the taxes.
Your question regarding "then if I cancel after 10 days what happens?" would depend on when you booked the Hyatt room and what date you made the first night reservataions for.
If you booked, for example, 20 days ahead of your first night reservation date and cancelled 10 days later you would be charged $50.00.
If you booked, for example, 12 days ahead of your first night reservation date and cancelled 10 days later you would be charged for the cost of one nights room plus tax.
Now I am giving you that information per the information you have posted here on Fodors. I have not personally looked at the Hyatt website.
If you think you will cancel this reservation I would suggest that you call the Hyatt and talk to them although I believe that reserving via their website is less expensive then making reservations via the telephone. But this is a decision you will have to make depending on whether you think you will cancel within 72 hours of your room reservation. Best wishes.

Thanks for the replies but probably i didn't explain correctly my question. I know about the charges, the 50$ etc. But i'm wondering.. When i'll book the room for December they'll charge my credit card the full amount of the stay immediately. So if i'll cancel the following weeks, except the 50$ fee, how will they give me back my money?? They can return them to my credit card? This is what i don't get!

In case you buy something while you are here, the rule about returning things in store is generally that they refund your money in whatever form you paid. So if you paid cash, you get cash; if you paid by credit card, they refund your credit card.
Some stores have the same policy as in Greece - in most states you can have any return policy you want as long as you tell people. Or if you return something without the receipt or after too long a time has passed since you bought it.
Maybe this will be helpful while you are visiting - have a nice trip.
