Estancia Suggestion

Hi - I was in BA with my boyfriend recently and we wanted to do a day trip to an Estancia. I cannot believe how wonderful the staff + environs + prices were at Los Dos Hermanos. I strongly recommend it to anyone. Can't remember exactly what we paid - probably close to $100 pp, but we had 2 full meals + snacks, waters, beers, wine, pool was immaculate, the group was only 3 of us!! the guide spoke perfect english, french, spanish, and german and let us ride as fast or slow as we wanted. we got in 2 2.5 hour rides + 2 hours at the pool, plus a huge barbecue lunch. AWESOME TIME!

I always suggest Estancia Los Dos Hermanos for anyone who would like to ride, even for beginners. Other frequent posters also do so. You can do it as a day trip, because it is relatively near Buenos Aires or you can stay overnight.

I'm glad you had a good time. Anything else about your holiday in Argentina?

I think the rate for a day at the estancia is US 55 or 60, but transportation adds another 200 pesos (about 65US) divided by the number of passengers.

If I can just convince my wife to get back on the horse that threw her (OK, not the very same horse...). Thanks for the suggestion.

I spent one night there. Besides going horseback riding, being served some excellent meals, drinking wine with the fellow guests and got a chance to meet the wonderful owners, who made it possible for me to visit.

Late in the day. I sat by the pool and watched an Argentina sunset.

Now that is a vacation.
