don carlos hotel

Trying to make some reservations here. No email response for a week, both numbers (toll free and not) seem to not work.

Anyone had any recent success contacting them and how?

Don

We've stayed there many times, but not in the past 6 months. Always gotten immediate response by e-mail. Very simple and quick. Keep trying. Sometimes the internet service is down. I call Costa Rica all the time and never a problem with the phone lines. Very odd. Double check your information. Are you using their website? Very nice hotel, btw! Super location, very pleasant and helpful staff.

I actually just made a reservation with them yesterday using their online form:
http://www.doncarloshotel.com/reserve_desk.htm

They responded with a confirmation email from [email protected] within a few hours.

We returned from CR just a few days ago. The few times we had Internet access, the thing was acting crazy. Other trips we have had no problem, but it seems last week there must have been big problems with Internet service.

Send a follow request.

Got through by phone yesterday. thanks all. Sounds like just a mix-up on the emails.

By the way... a great rate on car rental through their tour desk as suggested by
shillmac in an earlier post. rental is from tricolor, and quite a bit cheaper than the quote i got from them directly.

windwaves, this is how we first discovered Tricolor, also. Previously, we had used Dollar. Juan Carlos (tour desk, or actually it is a tour office) got us hooked up with Tricolor and we've used them since. Never been disappointed. Glad all is working out for you. This is a special hotel.
