Dominical and Matapalo help!

I'll be staying in MA starting next Friday and am planning day trips to Dominical and Matapalo and was hoping someone could share some great views, places to eat, beaches they like, etc... Much thanks in advance!

In Dominical there was an Argentinian restaurant 2 years back on the right just as you come into town. The cook was anxiously watching our reaction to the food I noticed as the cooking area was open to the dining. When I signaled to him it was great he lit up.
Very good food on a very hot night.

South of Dominical on an ocean view bluff point, La Parcela serves good food.

Playa Uvita / Ballena Nat. Pk. and smaller ones south of there are very scenic beaches.

Nauyuca Falls would be a nice hike early or horse ride.

Hacienda Baru just north of Dominical has trails for birding and animal viewing.

We liked Playas Ventanas south of Dom. about 30 min. as well--neat natural rock passageways. . ."windows".

We took your advice and got a ride down to Matapalo and Dominical and went to lunch at Roca Verde last week. They were both beautiful unspoiled/undeveloped beaches, especially Matapalo. It was an awesome day, thank you for the suggestion!

Glad you enjoyed the area. Are you going to write a report for us?
