We leave on Saturday for our two week vacation... Can hardly wait!

I have taken care of most preparations, so now I have time to think about things that are not in my control . Does anyone know which way the lava is flowing? We are staying at the Lost Iguana.

And... any current weather reports? We will be in Arenal, MA and at the end of our trip - Puerto Jimenez (BdC!).

Topping...We leave on Saturday as well, meeting my parents in SJ before going to Arenal and then BDC. Would love to hear any reports on the weather. Am feeling anxious about rain every day EVEN THOUGH I know from this board that the rains are typically once a day and don't linger.

Got an email from our driver, Luis last night... weather is changing each day he says and the rains are lessening. We are going to have a great trip. We start out in Arenal as well, coolbluewater, at the Lost Iguana, maybe our paths will cross.

We will be at Arenal Paraiso Nov 18-19. If you see a 30ish Asian woman with a blonde man with glasses (me and my husband) accompanied by an older Asian couple (my parents)--please say hello! We may or may not be bickering so I apologize in advance. I haven't done much traveling with my parents so I feel a little anxious about it--but I loved CR so much, I really wanted them to experience it as they are really active and love hiking/nature, etc.
