costa rica short tour
Hi there
I will be in San Jose for work and would like to see some of the country (tree forest canopy, volcano, coffee plantation) and think its probably best to do a 2-4 day tour or day tours from the hotel. Any suggestions of where to go (your top picks) or a realiable tour company? i tried costarica expeditions (called them and sent two emails as per their request for booking) and I never heard back and I am leaving in 1 week.
thanks

Try calling or emailing Wady Tours. They are located at Orchideas Inn in Alejuela. Excellent, knowledgable, friendly drivers. You can look at a sampling of their tours on the Orchideas website or you can design your own tour. http://www.orquideasinn.com/attractions.html
BTW where are you staying? I would assume they would also have suggestions on tours and can arrange a driver or for you to join in a group.

Sandy - have you done a tour with Gustavo? If so, does he go with you or does he put something together for you? i guess given i have 3 days after a week long conference i would like to relax but the suggestions I am getting looks like many places require driving 3-4 hours.
