volcanogirl, you are one of the fodorites who were quite helpful in us doing this trip. Thanks again. Otherwise, we would have missed seeing a lot of great countryside, nice people and some 170-plus species of birds. Dick

Dick - excellent photos of a great trip! I loved the bluecrowned motmot, the scintillant and the quetzal photos. We also had Erik for our driver last year from Savegre to Rancho N.
Thanks for sharing - brought back great memories of two very unique lodges. I'm glad they are a bit "off the grid" which keeps visitor numbers down.
Just back from Argentina (& Chile), added 6 more hummingbird species to my list.
