Copper Canyon

Anyone out there who has travelled there in Oct-Nov. and do you think it is safe to this year? Also, what tour group did you go with and did you take the train? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Ask the same question on the Thorn Tree Mexico forum. A guy there lives in the canyon and can give you up to the minute advice.

Took the train from Los Mochis

bought at the station

very safe no problems...

I can't answer about the Oct-Nov timeframe, but we went with Caravan in March 2009. Did not feel unsafe. Took the train down and back, which was a good thing because it was completely different in rain and not! Below is a link to our photojournal. Debbie
