Coca Tea

Does anyone know if its OK to bring back the coca tea from Peru to the states? I've had requests to bring this back for friends.

Nevermind, I found the answer to my own question on the State Department website. Bummer:

Although coca-leaf tea is a popular
beverage and folk remedy for altitude sickness in Peru, possession of these tea bags, which are sold in most Peruvian supermarkets, is illegal in the United States.

But it sure works for altitude sickness...and of course you can't bring it in... The coca leaves are given to the children to quiet them in Cuzco...
