Going to Cozumel for the day. Can't decide whether we want to spend the day at Chanakaab Park or Playa Del Sol Beach. We will be with our 2 sons, ages 10 and 15.

I prefer Chankanaab because it isn't quite as touristy or overrun with vendors.<BR>The snorkeling there is also quite a bit better than Playa del Sol, and if the cruise ships are in town you can forget about Playa del Sol - shortage of chairs, space, etc.

Chanakanaab for sure. The gardens alone are worth the visit.

I have to agree with the other posters - Chakanaab for me! However, we just did both places last summer with my 11 year old daughter and she would tell you the kids will love Playa del Sol. Unless they love snorkeling. There are more activities at Playa. The snorkeling, however, is great at Chak.

I have only been to playa de sol ,but I loved it they had a nice buffet for lunch and the faciity was wondeful.I went with my husband and 9 r old daughter.
