Casa Colonial in Oaxaca-rants & raves

What are your thoughts about Casa Colonial B&B in Oaxaca? We are planning a trip to Oaxaca City in June and are considering staying there. Thanks for your reply.

Casa Colonial is listed in Frommer's. There location is Division Oriente corner of Negrete. The directions given are to walk past La Soledad church on Avenida Morelos and angle right for a couple of blocks. It is a green house with purple trim without a sign on it according to the listing given by Frommers. Thanks Dude for replying.

If I am understanding the directions right, it sounds like it is on the other side of Crespo and just out of the historic center. Maybe its a good place to stay. You could always stay there and if you didn't like it use it as a base to find another place. I don't think you would have any trouble doing that in June. If you do stay there and enjoy it make sure to report how it was.

We are going to give it a try and like you said, Dude, we can always change if it is not to our liking. I will report on it when I return.
