Canopy Safari Picture question
Someone mentioned that the Canopy Safari people take pictures during your tour and then will sell you a CD of the pictures for, I believe, $25. Does anyone know whether they'll do this for a whole group as one CD for $25 or is it always per person. In other words, for 5 of us, would it be one CD for $25 or 5 CDs for $125 (which seems like way too much money). If it's the latter, I think I'd rather take my chances with our own camera, but I'd rather not lug it along if we don't have to. Thanks!

There was a break for families. I can't remember exactly but I think it was 1st person $25, each additional person $15. You can leave all your stuff/camera at the starting/ending point, it's very isolated & safe; so you can make your decision there after they explain the pricing. Personally I wouldn't have been able to take many pics, you have gloves on at all times and are constantly moving about. Have fun!

Tully is correct in that I know for 2 of us our CD was compiled of the pix of my husband and I and we paid $40 for it. I was so happy not to have to take my camera while zipping, but to come away with lots of great photos to capture one of the highlights of our vacation.
I posted some of my CR photos at: http://community.webshots.com/user/shorton109. There are a handful of ones that the Canopy Safari photographer took included there (they are easily recognizable as the ones where we have the orange helmets on!).

Hi,
We also got the CD from Canopy safari and for two of us it was $40 for 1 CD with all our pictures. I believe it was $15 per extra person, but they may have had deals for more than 2 people. I can't remember. Personally, it was worth spending the money instead of worrying about snapping my own pictures and/or losing the camera. The pictures came out great. they also include pictures of wildlife and other scenery on the CD, too.

Thanks everyone. I do like the idea of not having to try to take our own pix. Hopefully, they'll discount even more with 5 of us. Even $85 sounds like a lot for our group! I think I'll follow your advice, tully, and bring our camera, and then decide when we get there. Seh--I've looked at your pictures before--you got some absolutely amazing shots--and I don't just mean the canopy tour!
