Which of the 2 Hyatt's in Cancun is better?
Are they on the Isla Mujeres side or on the
side with undertows?

The Hyatt Cancun Caribe is better the the Hyatt Cancun. The main reason is that the Hyatt Cancun does not have a beach. Well it does but only seasonal and that is only for about 1-2 months and the beach is very small. Other times of the year the beach is washed out. Who would want to go to Cancun and not go to the beach? But the quality of the hotels are about equal. Both a nice hotels. The Caribe had some extra special touches that you dont get at the Hyatt Cancun.

Jen

Also both Hotels are on the Ocean side. So you have rough water and large waves.

Jen

We stayed at the Hyatt Cancun 2 years ago with kids. We liked it a lot. We hung out at the little cove to the left. I'm not sure if this might have been the beach for the Camino Real. It was not crowded so we didn't have problems. The water was rough since it was windy in January. However, you can just walk around the point and enjoy the bay side. We definitely liked being within walking distance to many shops. Check out Nabalam on Isla Mujeres for a perfect beach. 20 minute boat ride from Cancun. www.nabalam.com
