Buenos Aires featured in December's Bon Appetit magazine

I thought BA-bound travellers would like to know: December's Bon Appetit (which is currently on the stands) has a short photo spread featuring 21 hot places to visit in Palermo (mostly restaurants, but some shops made it in, too). It also lists the four or five Palermo-based boutique hotels that get mentioned on this board all the time.

As a side note: Gaad! I didn't make it to a single one of those addresses while I was in BA this past summer. And I stayed in Palermo! I *thought* I had a great time there, but I guess I need to go back to round out the experience.

What are some of the "recommended" shops and restaurants?

I need to find out if I have really had a good time on my visits to Buenos Aires, or if it was just cheap imitation.

The restos mentioned are:
El Diamante (Malabia 1688)
Mark's Deli & Coffee House ( El Salvador 4701)
Lo de Jesus (Gurruchaga 1406)
Restaurant Thymus (Lerma 525)
Tikal Chocolates (Honduras 4890)
Club del Vino (Cabrera 4737)
Social Paraiso (Honduras 5182)
Olsen (Gorriti 5870)
La Cupertina (for the best empanadas in BA) (Cabrera 5296)
Elles (Honduras 5916)

*For the record, I almost made it to Club del Vino. Turns out you need reservations well in advance.
