Buenos Aires and Bariloche...

My wife and I are headed to Argentina for 10 days. We would like to visit Bariloche for 3 nights. Our flight from Atlanta arrives in BA at 8 AM. Should we go straight to Bariloche from BA. LAN Airlines leaves BA around 11 AM which would put us in Bariloche around 2 PM or so. Should we get this part of our trip over and spend the rest of the time in BA or start in BA and finish in Bariloche. Thanks for your kind advice.

I believe it's too tight. Any delay in your international flight would make you miss the local flight.

You can do Bariloche in the midddle of your stay, or take the late afternoon flight on the day you get here.

Another alternative would be using Aerolíneas, which is less reliable, but has more flights, to fly to Bariloche. You could take LAN to come back to BA.

I'll check how it looks and I'll be back.

There SHOULD be snow at that time of the year, which is the start of our skiing season.

My Bariloche sources tell me it is a little early in the season and there may not yet be enough good snow for skiing by June 16, unless there is an unexpected heavy snowfall within the next few days.

Have a great time in our country.
