The most typical items served for breakfast are scrambled eggs, rica and beans, and some toasts. Many places also serve pancakes. They have a variety of mixed fruit drinks everywhere...mix them with milk and they are quite filling, or atleast enough to hold you until lunch. We found that in a lot of the places we went too, they would make lunch for you during breakfast.

I can only do a limited amounts of fruits at one time 1/4 - 1/2 cup. Unsweetened lowfat yogurts are okay as are lowfat cheeses. I could probably do full fat versions and eggs for week or so without totally killing myself with cholesterol. Rice is a definite no-no. I could probably do a small serving of beans, instead of the fruit - but not both and definitely not large servings. Also no milk with beans or fruits.
I was hoping for seafood & chicken and vegetables (not rice or corn, only small servings of beans) for lunch and dinner. I must eat lower carb/low fat (not Atkins). This is not a fad/optional food choice. I will be eating this way long after Dr. A has become passe!!
Thanks for the info
