Bosque del Cabo: Casa Miramar
Hi,
My family is planning a trip to the Osa Peninsula in March and hope to stay at Casa Miramar. Can you tell me how long a walk it is to the main lodge? If you have stayed there did you cook your own meals or purchase the meal plan? Are the accommodations comfortable for 6 adults and two 9 year olds? Would you recommend staying at Miramar over renting 3 casitas? Thank you!

Casa Miramar is 775 meters from the restaurant area according to their website. We loved staying at Bosque del Cabo; we stayed in Tucan though not Miramar. I'd highly recommend doing the meal plan if it's in your budget. The food is good, and the meals are very social, great time to interact with other guests, talk about wildlife spotting etc. We saw all four species of monkeys from our cabin. Also saw an anteater, coatis, agoutis, toucans, and scarlet macaws. Great place for people who enjoy hiking and wildlife. Are parts of Miramar just open to the outside without walls? You might check on that.
