Just wondering if any fellow Fodorites will be joining us at BdC April 22nd-29th?

I'll miss ya by a couple weeks but I'll up the May/June GTG thread as there are some April ones in there (I think).

Hi Moonpie. Our foursome will be at BdC from April 25-29, but I think you already knew that! We're staying in Lapa and Congo.

Oh, Moonpie, we will just miss each other. We will be there the 15th-18th. Is any one else from this forum booked at that time? It would be fun to meet up.

Haydencat - Another woman emailed me from Tripadvisor. She has a family of five staying in one of the houses. Are you guys planning on doing any tours? I definitely want to do the animal sanctuary/dolphin watch and maybe horseback riding.

Tully and Gem - Too bad we will miss each other....maybe next time!

Hi Moonpie. I'm sure we will do a tour or two at BdC. The horseback riding and animal sanctuary tours are high on my list too -- they sound awesome! The surfing lessons also sound fun.

We're going to keep things flexible for now, and just decide on tours when we get there. If we can share expenses with your group on one or more tours, that would be excellent though! I think you do save money on some of the tours by going with a bigger group.

Haydencat - I would love to share a tour with your group. We'll keep things flexible and see how everyone feels once you arrive. I have never considered surfing....that sounds like a lot of fun!

just got back from 4 nights in Congo--our first trip to BdC--and it was fantastic! I'll post a trip report and maybe even a couple of pictures later this week.
