Graziella,
Short answer, yes there is 24/7 security.

Long answer...
The front entry door is locked at all times, similar to the way apartment buildings are set up.

The office is on one of the upper floors. During the day you are required to speak over the intercom to the office and the staff will buzz you in. At night, there is a security person at the guard station near the front entry. He will let in once you verify you are a guest.

hope this helps.....

Thank you drdawggy ...it did help a lot. TKS. As you can guess I am thinking of my son and his family, it seems a good choice for them .I also read someplace that they can make some kind of a small discount if you pay cash which might be good too. I have noticed in our postings that you like the place and the kind of people who manages it and that is also very good.
Thanks again. As far as you know in this place it is better to approach them directly or through a travel agent as in many other hotels. I have the feeling that this place could be a little different.

Approach them directly. The cash discount is (at least it was for me) 10% paid in full at check in. I think they avoid paying tax by collecting cash, so I would ask for the full 21% were I to stay there again....might not work, but nothing ventured....

I just wanted to add that we stayed at Art Suites for 5 nights about 2 weeks ago. Loved it. It is a great hotel. It's very well located, clean, secure, modern and a pleasure. All of the people who work the front desk (staffed at all times) are very nice and helpful.
