Argentina Travel
My wife and I plan to take our toddler to Argentina in September. Planning to stay in BA for a week followed by 3 days in Mendoza.I would prefer to stay in an Apartment Hotel. Having read some of the posts, Park Suites and Urbana Suites keep popping up with reasonable ratings. I seek recommendations from folks who have stayed there. Is the best way to book through the websites or are the travel agencies cheaper? Also, do we need to rent a car?

We stayed in an aparthotel last year, ArtSuites ..in Recoleta..
I have never heard of these hotels you mention..have you looked in at TripAdvisor.com ?
There is a wealth of info on BA and Argentina on their forums and everyone is very helpful. You also get a lot of people who live in Argentina posting ..
We never book anything through agents, although for our move here, we let AmEx book the flights etc but it is easy to book here, they almost all have toll free numbers or email..ArtSuites answers their emails very promptly.
You would not need or want a car in BA.
Hope this helps..at least it will top it for you to get more answers.

I highly recommend Art Suites. It is in a wonderful and safe location in Recoleta and the management and employees are great. Also, they will serve you a continental breakfast each day in your apartment. You should check their rates on their website and then, perhaps, call them to see if you can get a better rate.
