Are there any hotels ON the beach?

Are there any hotels on the Pacific side of Costa Rica that are directly on the beach?
It seems like most hotels are near the beach or you have to drive to get to the beach.

Would you recommend any of them?
Thanks for your help!

Tamarindo has a few hotels right on the beach: Tamarindo Diria, Hotel Capitan Suizo and some smaller places like Casa Cook.
I don't know much about Tamarindo Diria. But I would very highly recommend Hotel Capitan Suizo where we stayed on two separate occassions - it was our favorite place to stay in Costa Rica.

If you prefer larger resorts, I heard very good things about Melia Playa Conchal which is located on one of the prettiest beaches in Costa Rica.
There are hotels and cabinas on the beach at Mal Pais. We liked the Tropico Latino. Their pool is also on the beach. You can swim in the pool while watching the waves.
Other hotels on the beach can be found south of Manuel Antonio in Dominical and Matapalo beach..and a couple in Zancudo area....also hotels on the beach in Jaco and Hermosa (North of Manuel Antonio).
The Pacific Coastline is huge. What particular area of the Pacific are you interested in?

Thanks everyone!
I am not looking for a certain area on the Pacific coast, just mainly for something located directly on the beach.
This trip would be for our honeymoon and we'd like to be able to access the beach directly.
The Blue Bay Papagayo in the Guanacaste region is on a black sand beach on the Pacific.All-inclusive, with a great 3-level pool and swim-up bar.We stayed in a duplex cabin which was very comfortable.Very hilly area and spread out, but hotel provides quick transport via mini-vans.Great snorkeling off beach area, trail to top of hill for sunset views.Howler monkeys, coatimundis and iguanas were sighted on resort property.Excellent staff for arranging trips.
