www.apartmentsba.com

www.maisonbuenosaires.com

www.bytargentina.com

www.shortstayinba.com

You have to just go through the apartment listings and find what you can afford that is located where you want to be. These companies are ones I know or hear the most about.
I have only used Maison Buenos Aires and have no complaints at all !
I would definitely stay in an Apartments BA apt if I did not have a large dog with me..

Palermo is good, once you start looking at the apartments, you will see what kind of choices you have and where you might like to stay..although there is nothing wrong with Palermo!

Hope this helps..

Hi !
I bought a nice big map when we were in the States, it was for planning the trip but also for help while we looked at neighborhoods to live in.

That is what I still use..will the maps on the apartment websites not work for you?
I will see what my friend uses for his research..will let you know, til then, this is topped and maybe someone else has ideas

Many of the apartment websites will link you to a location map.

Hello AndrewDavid;
Here a a couple of online maps you can play with...
http://mapa.buenosaires.gov.ar/sig/index.phtml
If you look at the options at the left - "recorrido a pie" will show and give directions you how to walk from A to B. recorrido en auto = driving instructions. if you put the cross strees into "localizador de direcciones" at the bottom left you'll get an area map.

Another interactive map is

hi Scarlett, I just replied to shortstayba for what appears to be a very nice apartment at Cervino and Ruggieri. Looks like a good location ? What do you think?
I'm also looking at apartmentsba.

Given what the temperature will be like in late dec early jan i'm thinking swimming pool (if I get an apt w/ a pool you get swimming priveleges!!)

thanks

LOL AndrewDavid..thank you..
I think the location sounds good. On my map..it looks like it is about 2 blocks from Libertador and the Palermo Chico area, museums and nice cafes and wonderful parks..

Andrew, I have used both the services you are considering and can personally recommend them. You are correct about the location of the shortstayinba apartment. It is part of a complex of apartments with exits on either Ruggieri on one side and Salguero on the other. It is a super apartment with central air conditioning. It is in a fabulous location...as Scarlett notes, just a couple of blocks from Figuero Alcorta mall, MALBA museum and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Since you are going in December, it is worth noting that you are within a couple of blocks of some of the best ice cream in Buenos Aires.

I'm NOT the worthy doctor, but the answer is:

Italian, Italian, AndrewDavid, AndrewDavid.

I reply twice, because you asked twice. I trust you have a sense of humor. LOL!!
