They are giving us a really good quote, but I saw some negative feedback about them from someone on the LP board. I'm hoping that was an isolated incident, but thought maybe someone else could offer some feedback. Thanks!

Wish I could help you already! We have booked a vehicle with them through the Hotel Don Carlos for week after next. I didn't see the feedback on the board, what did you read? Juan Carlos, who has an office for tours at the hotel, recommended them to me. I have worked with him before and found him to be very professional. He assured me that Tri-Color was a good company. Yes, I, too was amazed at their prices. We have always used Dollar and were quite pleased. But Juan Carlos recommended Tri Color to us, and we thought we would give them a whirl--especially after seeing their quotes. I'd really like to know what you have heard! I'll be glad to report back with our experience in a few weeks!

Here is a link to the post I read. Kind of scarey! However, the Vida Tropical B&B is recommending Tricolor to me and I have the same feeling you do; that respectable establishments would not recommend a bad rental car company. I wish you the best and please report back!
