My husband and I are looking for a beach resort in Peru - to go for 2 weeks in March - with our 2 kids. Any suggestions? Is Santa Maria still nice, or do we have to go farther away from Lima? Thanks

Hello Jose. I am traveling w/my husband who was born in Peru, was there about 2 years ago but as his home country never had a need to tour the country as a traveler. He knows his way around but we are landing in Lima w./out any package deal. We very much would like to see Cuzco and Machu Pichu, me for the first time and are insterested in any safe, reasonable tours for about 4 days. Do you have any recommendations.
Thanks in advance for your response.

Hi.

Myself and my girlfriend are spending 3 weeks in Peru over christmas and new year. We are meeting up with friends who are travelling round the world.

We would like to fit in all the worthwhile sites but would also like a relaxing few days/week on a beach with hot, sunny weather (to show off in London on our return)! Do you have any ideas for our itinerary?

Many thanks,

Matt

Jose, I will be in Lima y Cusco en Diciembre. I am traveling alone. I love to dance. Are there places I can go alone to dance? What should I wear? What dances are popular: cha cha, samba, salsa, cumbia, meringue??? Gracias por su ayuda!

Doesn't look like our buddy Jose is getting back to anyone. What a bummer... I would've been interested in what he had to say.

I agree, Sonia, I would be interested in what he has to say. I noticed his posting was in 9/17/99, so maybe he is no longer available.
