Any recommendations for vacation rentals in Playa del Carmen?
We are in the early phases of planning our Christmas 2008 trip to Playa del Carmen. We would like to rent a villa or condo that is beachfront for 7 nights, price not to exceed $4500. I found one rental that I like in that price range that is available, but am having a hard time finding some good online resources for looking at more rentals. Does anyone have some favorite rental sites (aside from vrbo) that you can recommend? Thanks!

So no one has answered so far? We have a family group going to PDC in June and would also like any suggestions about accomodations for a week, preferably a house or villa of some sort. Someone please pass along some recommendation or source?

Hi, we stayed at a private rental property with a gorgeous ocean view one block from 5th ave, two blocks from the actual beach. The website is www.playaluxuryrentals.com
Also in the past others have recommended the website www.locogringo.com for lodging in Playa. Hope this helps

The other resource that I've found so far is www.playabeachrentals.com, but I'm still searching.
