ALL Inclusives in Playa Del Carmen area

My wife and I are looking for a top notch AI resort in the Playa Del Carmen area.

We traditionally stay at the "Royal Hideaway" just outside of PDC and have found it be one of the absolutely highest stardards of luxury and quality in an AI resort inedustry. However, we are looking to split up this years vacation with another resort of equally high level of Luxury.

One of the resorts being spoken of is the Secrets - Maroma (if I have the name correct) and I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and could give us the low down on the resort.

We would greatly appreciate some information on the pro's and con's so to speak...

Regards,

Peter H

Secrets Maroma is very nice and is on a gorgeous stretch of beach.
Also look into the Iberostar Paraiso Grand. Many people who were loyal fans of Royal Hideaway have now switched to the IB Grand.
Also check out the Grand Velas. It is not an adults only resort, but has adults only sections and is top notch in the food and service areas.

I agree, if you want something in the same calibur as the Royal Hidaway look at the Iberostar Paraiso Grand or the ElDorado Maroma Beach. Secrets Maroma would be good also.

We are currently booked at Azul Beach Resort. 5star, all inclusive. Great prices, boutique hotel.

The best all inclusive in the area is the Grand Velas Riviera Maya. It is very expensive, though.
