I found roundtrip to Costa Rica for $680 in Dec. Is this reasonable?

It depends. Where are you flying from? Are you talking about early December or over the holidays? Charter or scheduled air? Consolidator fare?

It's over the holidays- Dec 26th to about Jan 10th.

Where are you flying from?<BR>I got tickets this past January from Houston for $400 by bidding on Priceline. Of course I didn't know what our schedule or airline would be until the bid was accepted, but I was not worried about that because I know they use US carriers. Our flight ended up being on American and had a very decent schedule.

we bought our tickets from Phila. for $600. Our travel agent said that was a good price. Cheaper or same that they could get it for.

I'm curious about airfare also. We have a timeshare reserved to Cancun over Thanksgiving - Air from Portland, OR is $839 right now - Is that a little high? Any idea? We used a consolidator (Mars Travel) last year for the four of us. Newark - SJO $505.00 each total with fees and taxes. They have a website www.flycheapol.com. It was almost $400.00 less each than direct with Continental.

Exact travel dates are 11/22 - 11/29 - Sat to Sat over Thanksgiving - might be the hitch on the $834 airfare!<BR>Any idea how crazy busy it might be during that time? - As busy as Christmas time?<BR>Cindy
