air conditioning

Hi, just booked a place and realized there's no AC..traveling to San Jose at end of February, do you think this is an issue? Hate to be hot and can't sleep if its too hot

Maybe a bit more info as to where you will be in the country? Assume you are flying into SJO but not staying there. Temp. and humidity levels vary depending on what area you are in.

If you're staying in San Jose, it's usually about 80 during the day and cools off into the 60s at night.

I hope you are not in San Jose for your entire trip? If this is just about your first night hotel, then San Jose is at high enough elevation that A/C is not needed.

On the coast is another story.

If you were staying up in San Gerardo de Dota, the question would be "is there central heat or do I have to build my own fire?"
