Adult only- all inclusive recommendations please?
Any recommendations? My husband and I are looking to get away for a few nights in the spring and would love an adult only all inclusive nicely rated hotel. If you could offer any suggestions we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you

YOu don't say where in the world you want to go or what your interests and requirements are. Hard to give advice with no information, but I'll try.
The Riviera Maya in Mexico---
Royal Playa del Carmen, Excellence, Secrets Capri, Royal Hideaway, Adventura Spa Palace for a start.
In the Dominican Republic--Excellence.
All of these are adults only all inclusives with good ratings.
The Royal Hideaway has had some beach erosion and the Adventura doesn't have a "real" beach--just a man made lagoon.
Don't know how important a great beach is to you. The others all have a nice beach.

I apologize, I thought I posted in the Mexico section
Really anywhere in Mexico, I've been doing a lot of research in Cancun/Riviera Maya. Just looking for a nice relaxing all inclusive on a nice beach w/ some pools and bars
Thanks again and sorry for the first post!

I second the Premiere in Puerto Vallarta because I love PV and think it a much better destination than Cancun. Premiere has AI option or not and the food is good there. It is a quieter sort of place which is perfect for us. All activities and water sports are available at their sister hotel property right next door--Buenaventura. All rooms face the water and have tubs on the terraces. The suites have larger hottubs on the large terrace and jacuzzi bathtubs in the bathrooms. We really loved our stay there.

We've been to several Adults Only All Inclusive resorts:
Couples Swept Away (May 2006)
Couples Negril (Jan 2006)
Couples Ocho Rios (Jan 2007)
Secrets Excellence Riviera Cancun (Jan 2005)
Secrets Capri (May 2004)
Secrets Excellence Punta Cana (Jan 2004 & May 2005)
Grand Lido Braco (Jan 2002, Aug 2004, Aug 2005, Aug 2006 & upcoming Aug 2007)
Grand Lido Negril (Jan 2000 & Aug 2003)
Sans Souci Resort (when it was Grand Lido) (Jan 2001 & Aug 2002)
El Dorado Royale (upcoming May 2007)
Aventura Spa Palace (May 2003)
Sandals St. Lucia (Nov 1998 -- 1st week of honeymoon)
Sandals Grande St. Lucian (Jan 2003)
Breezes Bahamas (May 1999)
Our overall top favorites out of all of those are Secrets Capri (Riviera Maya) & Couples Swept Away (Jamaica).
I guess if you're just going away for a 'few nights' then you'd want somewhere that was somewhat close to the airport (so you don't waste precious vaca time in transport!!). Secrets Capri was about 22 or so minutes from the Cancun airport.
SC had just about the best food out of all of the resorts we've been to. There's also 24 hour room service. We stayed in an Oceanfront room which looked straight out at the beach. The service was great for us there as well. It was also on the smaller side (at about 242 rooms or so), so it had a more intimate feel than some of the larger resorts we've been to (i.e. Excellence Riviera Cancun or Aventura Spa Palace).
Royal Hideaway is on our to-do-some-day list, but $$$$ !!
If you don't have your heart set on Mexico, then Couples Swept Away was a really resort w/ a absolutely gorgeous beach. The bldgs there are small & interspersed w/ tons of tropical foliage. We stayed in an Atrium room there w/ wooden, plantation shutters on all four walls (w/ screens behind them) (there was AC that worked really well w/ the shutters closed !!). This was probably the most tropical-feeling resort we've stayed at !!
I have pics of all of our trips if you're interested:

OK, enough rambling for now !! Good luck w/ your decision !!
