9 days in Argentina - help
We'll be in Buenas Aires for 9 days over Christmas and would like to book a few day side trip, possibly to Iguazu Falls. Can anyone recommend a travel agent or can I do this myself online? Any other recommendation other than Iguazu Falls?

Airfare should cost in the neighborhood of U$200 between Buenos Aires and Iguazu on either Lan www.lan.com or Aerolineas Argentina. www.aerolineas.com.ar
There are several hotel options. On my last trip I stayed at the Esturion http://www.hotelesturion.com/
You might want to check with Mayra Brill regarding packages. She is a delight to work with...

As an alternative, you might look into the possibility of heading south to Bariloche or another destination in the vast region of Patagonia.
Enjoy!

I am leaving tomorrow for my trip and I have to also second using Mayra. She is the best! However, contact her now as she is having twins next month and will be out, but she can hook you up with someone in her office. She booked me a 2-day trip to Iguazu for a reasonable price.

I was hoping to use Mayra as well but she is currently on maternity leave until October. The standard reply e-mail is somewhat unclear as to how to contact her office. Does anyone have an e-mail for someone else that she perhaps has recommended? I am hesitant to call the number as my Spanish skills are nonexistant. We were hoping to head to Bariloche and Mendoza after BA.....
