2 bedroom places in CR needed

We have looked extensively at Bosque del Cabo and Lapa Rios, Tulemar, Si Como No, but none seem to have 2 bedrooms. We are going with another family of 5- we are 4- want nice place, and we have a full week so we can travel from SJO upon arrival. Please help!

Costa Verde has Casa Quinta and 2 bungalows, I believe all have 2 bedrooms and kitchens. You could also check the villas at Tulemar and Buena Vista Villas, pretty sure they have accomodations with 2 bedrooms although fairly pricey.

Another option would be to rent a house. If you go to VRBO.com there are vacation homes for rent by owner located in almost every desirable location in CR.

Have you looked into the 3 houses at Bosque del Cabo? There are also cabinas that have beds on the main floor and 2 up in the loft.

jdp -- Not sure if you ruled out BDC because of the ages of your kids, but as tully said there's Casa Miramar which would be comfortable for all of you and they just put in a new plunge pool.

thanks. BdC was a bit too rustic for the other family but perhaps we will get there on our own some day. We are staying in a villa near LIR for 5 nights, then Finca Rosa Blanca in Heredia for 2 nights (they have 2 villas that have 2 bedrooms each now). We want to stop someplace on our way from the villa to Finca- do you know if Arenal is on the way?

by the way, this is what the villa web site says about driving from San Jose, but I am not familiar with any of these towns. If anyone knows of a good place to stop for a hanging bridges tour, that'd be great: "On your way to Liberia, you will pass through the towns of San Ramon, Esparaza, Canas and Bagaces."

thanks. we ended up getting a villa near LIR for 5 nights, then Finca Rosa Blanca (that now has 2 villas by connecting 2 sets of bedrooms) for 2 nights in Heredia. Still looking for a good stop on the drive from LIR area to Heredia.....

Has anybody had experience staying at the Casa Quinta in Costa Verde? Where is its location on the property?

I'm pretty sure faithie (bellaboo) has stayed there, maybe she will chime in here. I know the houses are up a little ways from the reception, but I didn't have any reason to head up there so I didn't want to invade anyones privacy.
