1 week in Tulum Itinerary

Hey all,

A buddy and I (32 years old), will be travelling to Tulum for a week in mid November. We are staying at Villa Pescadores on Playa El Paraiso. Was hoping to get some feedback on our rough itinerary.

Day 1 (Thursday):
Rent bikes and ride to Tulum Beach
Workout at Tulum Jungle Gym 10ish
Lunch at Taqueria La Eufemia
Beach day @ Tulum Beach
Ride back to hotel to clean up
Mojitos at Batey’s (in town)
Dinner in Town

Day 2 (Friday):
Do Coba ruins (hire half-day taxi)
Get there for open at 8am
Rent bikes there and head straight to end to climb pyramid before crowds arrive
See other ruins after
Choo-Ha cenote
Afternoon at beach
Villa Pescadores

Day 3 (Saturday):
Playa Del Carmen Cenotes
Travel by Collectivo (all 3 walking distance from each other)
Cenote Ponderosa (Jardine del Eden)
Cenote Azul
Cenote Cristalino
Afternoon at beach
Villa Pescadores
Rent paddle board or kayak?
Party at Papaya Playa Project

Day 4 (Sunday):
Take bus to Visit Muyil Ruins and Sian Ka’an Bio-reserve
Do ruins first then take boardwalk to do river float
Pick up rental car @ 5pm @ Avis rent-a-car

Day 5 (Monday):
Drive to Chitzen Itza
Be there for 8-830am
Visit Cenotes nearby
Yokdzonot Cenote (20mins)
OR
Il Kil Cenote (8 mins)
Cenote Oxman (1h2m from Yokdzonot or 45mins from Il Kil)
Valladolid town (9 mins)
For late lunch
Suytun Cenote (12 mins from Valladolid)

Day 6 (Tuesday):
Drive to Tulum cenotes
Gran Cenote
Start here for opening at 8am
Cenote Calvera
Casa Cenote
Dos Ojos Cenote
Aktun Chen Cenote
Drop off car around 4pm

Day 7 (Wednesday):
Tulum Ruins
Rent Bike to get there for 8am
Can lock up at site
Check out crooked palm tree on Playa El Paraiso
Self-guided mural tour by bicycle
Use map from Zamas hotel
Picture at TULUM sign
Lunch at Burrito Amor in town
Afternoon at beach
Villa Pescadores OR rent day bed at Papaya Playa Project

Day 8 (Thursday):
Fly home

Day 4: Consider joining an organized tour of Sian Ka’an, and check into whether they will pick you up.

Day 4: Sounds extremely ambitious to me. Even if you can manage Chichen Itza and Valladolid on the same day, consider the Cenotes Dzitnup instead of the ones you list.
