zoom airlines

Has anyone used Zoom airlines. The price to Paris is much lower than anything I can find on expedia, etc.

Thanks.

Hey Karen,

I flew ZOOM from Montreal to Paris in May 2006 and although it was quite a tight squeeze and the planes are a little older it was quite good. The service was friendly, and organized .
The only thing with ZOOM is that if there is a delay somewhere it takes longer for you to get on your flight. They have a limited fleet of planes, so for example, on my return flight, they had a problem with one of their planes in London so had to re-route the plane I was supposed to be on, which meant that I stayed in Paris for 1 extra night.
I don't think it happens too often, but it's good to know so you can plan accordingly.
I would say go for it, you save quite a bit of money. I would definitely fly with them again just for the savings.

Hope that helps!

I haven't, but it's become quite popular. You can read reviews here:
There are many complaints among the reviews here, but I think it's par for the course nowadays with practically any airline:

I have never flown on it myself but I have friends in Edmonton and Calgary who swear by it. And have never had any problems with it.

Thanks everyone. We decided on Zoom. It saved us $500 on each ticket going from Toronto over going from our home in Buffalo. After readking the comments though, I think we will bring out own food!

I have friends that used them last summer from Cardiff to Canada. They found them ok. Nothing special but good value.
