Yummy Swiss bites

Switzerland is a historical country of farmers. Traditonal Swiss dishes, are more of potatoe and cheese.
Basic food items include dairy product, vegetables, sausages and fruits. Here is a list of some famous recipes from Switzerland.

SWISS RECIPES
-Soup De Chalet - Vegetable stock with pasta,on a tablespoon of butter,with a pinch of pepper. It is mostly had as a starter.

Vaud Style Tarte Flambee - It is a flatten pizza dough, thin, light, topped with potatoes, crime fraiche, spring onions and thin slices of Vaud Sausages.

Maluns -They are prepared from boiled potatoes which is mixed with butter.

Capuns -They are spinach beef wraps, filled with dried meat, pepper mint and served with cheese.

Summer Salad - It is a starter made out of cheese sables and raspberries.

Baked Vegetable with bacon - They are made out of refined soup and barley, served with pinch of salt and butter.

Maki Sushi - They are ham slices made out of emmental cheese, and mince meat.

Zürcher Geschnetzeltes - sauteed strips of veal in a creamy sauce with mushrooms, cream and white wine

Rösti - potato pancakes, served as a side dish

Tartar - raw minced beef, served with an egg yolk, spices, onions, mustard, chili and a glass of cognac (to mix with the beef)

Egli - small fish from Lake Zürich

Bündner Fleisch - dried beef (also horsemeat)

Rüblitorte - cake, made from carrots

Eglifilets are usually imported from Latvia.
