Our photo album is located here:

Has anyone tried the new google photo software program? It searches your hard drive for all of your pics (even the ones, you've long forgotten) and organizes them. I love it!

i have three from Venice and five from Mexico on my apartment walls.

why they are special, besides being great shots... they were taken on a disposable panoramic camera. then a friend who works at a photo place scanned them to digitized, worked on them to correct color and light, enlarged them a bit and printed them on a plotter. then i mounted them framelss on color-plak (laminate) brightly colored wood. they look fantastic, if i do say so myself.

I have posted a link to my some of my Ireland pics before, but since it is cold in upstate NY and I am jealous because my son & DIL are going to Paris next week, I have posted a handful of Paris shots from one year ago.

My favorites are the leeks and Versailles doorway. Someday I will rent an apartment in Paris so I can take advantage of the wonderful food available at the markets!

What a great idea! I love looking through other people's pictures! Here are a few of my favorites:

http://www.kodakgallery.com/PhotoVie...d=126108825103

This is a picture of me taken from Piazzale Michaelangelo in Florence. I love this picture because the city of Florence looks beautiful in the background.

http://www.kodakgallery.com/PhotoVie...d=325173806103

This is me again, taken at Pompeii. I love this picture because I found Pompeii to be so fascinating and its thrilling to see that I was actually there!

http://www.kodakgallery.com/PhotoVie...d=926298551203

This is a picture of my two younger brothers (18 and 21), also taken at the Forum this December. This was their first trip out of the country, and out of the Midwest for that matter, and they were both in awe of both ancient Rome and the Roman and Italian culture in general. It was such a great experience that I got to share with them, and this picture brings back all those memories.

I have some other favorites, but unfortunately only my Italy photos are online at the moment.

I know that this is an old thread, but as an avid photographer, I really like checking out other peoples work. There are some REALLY GREAT shots that were shared here.

flygirl - Your shot of the cross at the Colosseum is just too cool. Excellent framing!

statia - I am a really big fan of black and white and your series from Venice in 2003 is just amazing!!!!

With that said, here are my personal favorites from my trip in October 2006

So many lovely photographs here. It's making me even more excited about my upcoming trip to Amsterdam and Paris.

I have so many favorites, it's hard to pinpoint one or two so I will share my favorite page:

http://www.travelswithdiane.homestea...rdsGreece.html
One of my favorite photographs is of the Sun Rocks Villas on Santorini. This wasn't our room, but I couldn't resist the shot. There is something magical about Santorini.

Another favorite -- on the Italy page -- is a lily, taken at the Villa Carlotta in Lake Como.

I sell my photographs as cards and enlargements, but primarily at craft shows, so I guess it's okay to include here.

Here's hoping we get many more people adding to this thread.

Why what else but the requisite picture of the spouse in Mexico with an Iguana on his head. I'll figure out how to post soon!

flygirl,

What a beautiful shot!!! What kind of camera did you use?

Two more from my last trip to Firenze, my favorite city in the world. Both were taken from inside the belltower next to Il Duomo. The first is from about halfway up. The second is just as you get to the top and all you can see is the cross from the top
of Il Duomo.
