Your Favorite Paris Shopping Guide?

Hello friends! Yea!!! I'm leaving for my solo trip to Paris in 18 days!!!

My flights and hotel are set, as is my "date" with Michael Osman.

I usually don't do much shopping on vacation, primarily because my husband HATES to shop. But, hey, he won't be there, so now's my big chance.

I'm not looking for anything in particular -- perhaps some ladies' accessories, interesting objects d'art, I don't know...Parisian things!

Someone recommended "Where Wear". Anyone else have a favorite shopping guide, or favorite store, or favorite place for good deals/bargains? I really want to hear from you.

Merci beaucoup!

Suzie Gershman's "Born to Shopz: Paris" is great.

If you can read a little French, or are willing to work with a French-English dictionary, you'll be very well served by "Paris Par Cher," available in major bookstores in Paris.

Thanks, Underhill.

Dave in Paris, I do read/speak a little French, and I love a good challenge! Thanks.

I like "Born to Shop" but even better IMHO is "Where to Wear Paris" by Jill Fairchild. It lists hundreds of stores and what they sell and also gives the metro stop for each, the price ranges and the atmosphere and good nearby restaurants.
