This looks very interesting, and not just for the list of London borough walks posted on Sunday 16 September -

Colleen61, I just noticed your question from back in February. Sorry for the delay. The London Walks tour does not include a boat ride. A couple of companies offer boat rides on the canal. I don't have my links with me (traveling), but I'sure you can find them by googling.

ellen, I'm not sure when you're planning for, but it looks as though it may still be in the future, in which case, your husband's legal interest might be piqued by a visit to the Supreme Court building:

or the Royal Courts of Justice (civil/commercial/appeals courts):

Hi, Fodorites. For those of you have taken a London walk, were questions encouraged, or was this a fairly, tightly-scripted/performance sort of experience? Would be so nice to ask the guides questions, as many of them seem so knowledgeable.

ChgoGal: Most that I've taken were casual and there was plenty of opportunity to chat w/ the guide/ask questions. But they do generally keep up a good pace too. So I try to keep up w/ the guide and ask my questions while the stragglers are catching up.

Ours were what janisj explains; casual with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, but they maintained a good pace. The guide stopped every so often and that was a good opportunity to catch up and ask questions.

These people have just set up some slightly offbeat-looking walks around my part of town. I have no idea what they're like, but there's a novelty value here:
