I'm glad to read that even a native Brit has trouble making Yorkshire pudding, I tried making it once and got hot greasy lumps.
After this thread though, next time I will just go to my gourmet shop and ask for Yorkshire Poodlings. For wine, I'll look for Bordeau Terrier.

From the menu of a restaurant known for its fusion CHOW:
Recommended dishes:
BEAGLES and lox
sushi in a bento BOXER
salad of BICHON FRISÉ
plate of SHARPEI cheeses
GREAT DANish
coffee finished off with a pooper scooper of WHIPPET cream or a SPITZ of lemon
Not recommended:
broccoli RABID

Off-topic but fun: http://www.gone2thedogs.com/ Click on the link on right side "WHAT DOG ARE YOU" and take the quiz. If it doesn't work, try again later.

A few months ago when I first saw this site, the answer I kept getting, even if I changed one response, was Portuguese water dog. Seems like a nice dog. This time I must've changed something else, becaue I got Shetland sheep dog. I like them. (My favorites are mutts, though.)

elaine,
I know, It looks and sounds easy - my mother makes the lightest Yorkshire Puddings but mine are as flat as pancakes, not good for someone born in Yorkshire
It was never really an issue in England where you can buy frozen yorkshire puddings in any store and pass them off as 'homemade'
Mom is visiting next February, wonder I can get her to cook a batch and try to freeze them?
