Demonstration in Condemning against Terrorism

Federation of Turkish American Associations, Inc.
Fanatical Terrorism Kills Many In Istanbul!!
Planned Demonstration in Condemning against Terrorism.

The Federation is organizing a demonstration against terrorism and, we are inviting all to participate in this demonstration in condemning terrorism and aggression.

The demonstration exact location is at Ralph Bunche Park corner of 1st Ave, between 42nd and 43rd street at 1pm start on November 26, 2003 Wednesday. Participant will cherish and mourn the memories of Turkish Muslim and Turkish Jewish lives and the fallen ones against the barbaric attacks in Istanbul and against the world. Please stand with us and lets send a loud message to the terrorist that they will not succeed in destroying the friendship among our respective countries, nor will they damage the centuries-old brotherhood among our Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities in Turkey!

Please come and voice your support against terrorism. Come with your American flags, Turkish flags, Israeli flags and let's stand for freedom and against terrorism. Please bring your own written posters condemning terrorism.

We must stand strong against global terrorism
We must stand strong and united against terrorism
We must come out to condemn the wave of terrorism that has swept the United States and the Republic of Turkey and all the freedom living people of the world.

Sinan,
I'm with you, friend.

My condolences and prayers go to the families of the dead and injured. People should remember that the vast majority of the Turkish people are appalled by these acts and we should show our solidarity with the Turkish people.

Sinan,
A sad day for Turkey and for people who respect human rights around the world. However, I'm sorry to say you won't get much sympathy here at the fodor's site (3 replies in 5 hours) because there are many here who only blame America for all the world's many ills.

But you have my sympathy and I hope there's a good turnout Wednesday.

Sinan, My condolences to you and your countrymen. It makes me both sad and angry. You are right in your assessment of the situation. For the world to sit by and do nothing while terrorists continue to kill and destroy is irresponsible. If the world would just unite in this area, just think of what could be accomplished.

Jacko, all those people are not blaming America as you say. Most people on this board distinquish between the Bush administration and the American people.
