The jacket is beautiful. I love to wear clothes that make me feel good. This obsession that some people possess of "not looking like an American" is ridiculous to me - as tho there's a shame to it. Wear your jacket and enjoy!

annhig, Nope. I am a very thoughtful (perhaps overly so) packer. But I do pack light, use every thing I bring, and have every thing I need... so to me is worth the extra effort.>>

suze - I'll try it next time, i promise. I like the idea of wearing everything I take with me - usually I wear no more than 1/2 of it [if that much] almost to destruction and the rest stays in the case mainly as it turns out to be too thick/thin for the weather.

margo - I exaggerated for effect - but only a bit!
