Has anyone flown United to Paris from Washington Dulles? We are flying in April. Tickets are expensive, but we wanted non-stop. Also, does anyone have any reassuring words about anti-American sentiment stirred up in Paris over the Iraq situation? We're afraid we'll meet with antagonism.

We were worried about the same thing but we are going any way(in may). My friends Brother lives in paris and he said that there has been no unfreindliness towards them.

I'm flying May 28 to June 11 Miami to Rome (Through JFK) for a total of $ 395.50 US from autoeurope. They also quoted a price , taxes included Miami to CDG leaving May31 to June 16 of $ 350.50 US. This does seem too good to be true, but I have tickets in hand and will confirm with AA.

Doug: I got my tickets from autoeurope yesterday and I too have that "too good to be true" feeling about the price. Although I guess the non-refundable/transferable, etc., clause probably keeps the price down. Let us know what happens when you confirm with AA.

This is just FYI for fare searchers - If Detroit is not out of the question for you - there is a direct flight DTW - FCO on Northwest Airlines - which I have booked for 550./per. Don't know about the legroom, but the flight does not stop anywhere else here NOR anywhere else in Europe! Hopefully THEY'RE not going out of business too! Booked it through Orbitz.com after searching for weeks.

We bought tickets for family of 4 leaving late May and returning mid-june, Miami to Paris through Auto-Europe, on American Airlines. Total price for 4 people, including all taxes and fees, $1,270. I have checked with American Airlines and they have confirmed that the tickets have been issued and have confirmed our seat assignments.

If you can still get these rates, (about $300 per person) I'd say "do it!"
