With kids to Latvia
Any particular places to visit traveling with kids to Latvia? I mean amusement parks, maybe places connected with famous Latvian writers who wrote for kids (fairy tale theme parks I guess). I kinda was unable to seek out anything like this on the internet besides some local sites like this ( http://www.celosana.lv/ and praised be Google translate
), but I do think that all the local sites try to attract tourists and, well, give you only the 'good' information. I'd like to see a more objective opinion.

I would think a tour of Cesis Castle would be fun for kids - you can go up in one of the towers with a candle in a lantern that they provide.
In Riga, the boat ride on the river could be fun - we got on the boat in a park.
I didn't see any theme parks, but we weren't looking for them.
