Windsor Castle or Hampton Court Palace for an 11 year old girl
Which do you think would be of more interest to an 11 year old girl - Windsor Castle or Hampton Court Palace? I've been to both and have been leaning towards Windsor Castle because of the doll house, but I'd be interested to know which one children have actually preferred.

I think Windsor Castle would be the best choice, and it's a real, lived-in castle that would let your daughter see how royalty lives. The doll's house would be a plus, but I'd add St. George's chapel to the visit.

That would be a tough call for my daughter. Hampton Court has the maze, which is great fun to wander through. But Windsor Castle is in the middle of the town, which presents opportunities to shop! Why don't you and your daughter look on the internet at both places, and then decide what appeals?

HI
admittedly I went to HC with boys, but I can't imagine anyone of any age not enjoying the Maze at Hampton Court. I've been there 2 or 3 times and have had a good giggle each time.
It's been a long time since I saw the dollhouse at Windsor, but I don't recall it making a big impression on me.
But I wasn't 11.
