Will British Airways Be Offering Deals for April?

right now the flights to London mid-april are running about $440 with taxes!
But, it seems as soon as I book a flight on B.A, the fares go down at least $100.
and with booking 4 tickets, that is a nice chunk of change.

Does anyone know if "historically" fares for after Easter go on sale soon?

No way to know for sure - but this year will probably not be typical. Last Nov. BA held a HUGE sale with really fantastic prices to London from every US gateway city. They probably sold many thousands of seats (the travel dates for the sale went from Nov '03 all the way through Oct '0).

So if their load factors are up, there may not be much need for further reductions. Plus Easter is in mid-April and the two weeks both sides of Easter are pretty busy travel periods . . . . .

It was pretty hard to miss that sale in October 2003.BA was clebrating the 100 year anniversary of flight with $100 fares to London each way from any of its major hubs in the US.As I recall the fare was matched by both Virgin, and UAL.I bought a ticket on BA from SFO-LHR for $296 round trip with all the taxes. So Janis may be right that ther won't be any more sales for awhile.

Thanks Lovejoy, i may just bite the bullet and purchase now.

BTW-
being a single mom with two teens
working 2 PT jobs,
"celebrating " both teens B-days different days the first week of October,
being in europe for 8 days the 3rd week of October,
and upon returning,
catching up on all the above,
plus planning a 50th B-day party for a friend,
and a fundraiser at my youngest school,
I am not at all surprised
what does surprise me is that I did not miss more!!!!

Off to B.A site to book.
