NYC to Buenos Aires in April
My friend and I are planning on taking a trip to Buenos Aires from NYC in early April. We have fairly limited dates available and as we were waiting to get approval from our respective jobs, the fares jumped - each day - by $200 per person. So now they are at about $1100 for a one stop, whereas just two days ago they were around $900. I can't tell if this is because we are inside the one month window or what, but it's very frustrating!
Are we resigned to paying this much if we want to go or is there a chance the fares will come back down? I would track on Yapta.com but it doesn't seem to follow the South American airlines we would be on, even LAN which is part of Oneworld.
Any thoughts? All help/advice is much appreciated!

When in April? - I just went to kayak and on their calendar display of RT April fares for JFK-EZE they range from $791 to 1150, depending on dates and days of the week. Are you are all flexible about dates? Most expensive are those around Easter (first) weekend.

oh that's right - didn't remember it was easter. we were hoping for the first week, so that might be the issue - we're pretty limited in terms of days.
the fares went back down by $200 this morning and jumped up again literally as i was booking them. i think we'll ride it out for another day or two.

Ua/lan/tam: Ewr-eze $633
Just booked ewr-eze for $633 on priceline. [Originally shows $703]
Dates 4/22-4/29.
Most on UA metal with exception of gru-eze flight which is on LAN or TAM.
Not the greatest MR, but the cheapest fare to EZE i've seen in ages. You can also get out of PHL for 653$.
(from flyertalk -- appears to still be active? good luck)
