Why was my message pulled off?

It doesn't make sense to me. A few minutes ago I posted a message trying to help others looking into a triple room in Paris regarding the size per hotels I've enquired at. Somehow my message "disappeared". I did see it after I posted it so I know it's not a system problem.

If the Fodor's editor(s) pulled it off that's really bad because they allow inane messages to repeat while other worthwhile ones are taken off.

Don't think it was pulled off. I've topped it for you.

Yeah, I've had that happen to me quite a few times .. I even did a search once for the exact title and nothing came up.

But once I waited and refreshed quite a few times, it was back. Possibly an update problem or they take it off to review.

Yes, the problem with doing a search even on the exact title is that it can take several days before new posts are "indexed" and appear on any search. The country search seems to work immediately though.

You can also do a search on your e-mail address and all of the threads that you've posted on will show up.
My son posted something once. I could see it, he couldn't, although he could see later posts.

Doug
