Why does this forum go to sleep at 10:30pm PDT

I'm just getting started about this time, but the forum goes to sleep. Where do people post from for this forum?"\

Not enough west coast posters, Tinling! I'm on central time, but then I'm an insomniac. Sometimes I've stayed on late enough to catch some European posters starting their day...

Realy, not enough west coasters? Interesting. How about Hawaii foderites? Is travelling to Europe an East Coast thing? (and a few people from the central time zone). Maybe people from the east of the Missisippi need to get away more than people from the west.

Scarlet: How do you get those little smiley faces that you (and many others) attach to your post?

Tinling, you have to realize also that a lot of folks on Fodors post during working hours, while they are on the job. I's sort of appalled by that, but it's a fact.

It's weird to be posting at 11:00 pm and see the post on Fodors as 2:00 am makes me sleepy lol.

"I's sort of appalled???" Sorry. I make typos late at night.

Hi Scarlet! Nice to have you here on the left coast. Is there anything we can do to make you extra happy so you'll stay with us a long, long time?

Good morning from Switzerland! It's a bright and sunny day and the cows are out grazing. For those who are thinking of going to bed...wish you all a wonderful, relaxing sleep.

It's perfect weather to be in the mountains. Not too hot but deliciously warm with a hint of fall coming. Definately hiking weather. I heard it's supposed to rain on the weekend though.

I hate going to go to bed when the party's just getting started for the rest of you,but it's midnight here in NE Washington State and time to go to sleep.

Keep your voices down and let the rest of us catch a few winks, you hear?

Good Morning to you!
Try being an extreme night owl on the west coast (SoCal), it can sometmes be very quiet! The only time I seem to break away from my 3am bedtime is on vacations to Hawaii, very convenient to not have to adjust sleep time!

Goodnight from me!
