Perhaps you'd like to re-evaluate the nastiness of your own name-calling and insults and post when you have something of value to contribute, rather than just a powerless, angry need to hurl invectives. Instead of "wishing" everything you don't like would go away, try dealing with it and realize that you can't control it. See the comments about MauiHeidi the travel agent's "out of the goodness of my heart" (and for the benefit of her pocketbook)and the comments of those who point out Margo's sales pitches both here on the forum and via e-mail directly to Fodorites. <BR> <BR>Whether she personally enjoys it or not has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that she violated Fodor's rules and is a Fodor's competitor who is using this site and the e-mails of its contributors to sell her products. <BR> <BR>

Well, I think Rex might be away, so I'll just say that I think I have figured out who makes a living from travel, like Rex. I have never seen him post anything I thought crossed the line. He seems to be quite careful about that, and I doubt he is getting anything out of this other than name recognition. So I think we all ought to have our facts straight before we start slamming other contributors who are, in my opinion, following the rules and providing excellent advice.

I commute between USA and Europe for work and visited this site hoping to find and share some good information about inside places to travel on my off time within Europe. Unfortunately, this was the first forum I clicked on and I was horrified. So if Margo overstepped her bounds and emailed people at home - just email her back and tell her not to do it again! Complain to Fodors, whatever....Move on! As for the people who posted all those visicous statements...why don't you all just slug it out on Jerry Springer? As a part time resident of Europe and after reading some of the garbage on this site, I can see why many Europeans think that's who we are.... <BR> <BR>Now let's get back to why most of us are here.
