Besides me! *bliss* I can't believe that we are only one month and 3 days away from this long awaited trip.

Rome from the 8th to 18th - can't wait!! This site has been great - I'm a newcomer and it has been so helpful! I just got my reservation confirmation for the Scavi tour and am so excited. Am planning on a trip report when I come back - hope I don't bore people bout am eager to share with others as everyone here has generous. For any of you will be in Rome on Sunday, October 15 - the Pope will be canonizing an American saint. Definitely a once in a lifetime event if you happen to be in town!!

I arrive in Rome on October 19 for five nights, then on to Florence for three. Much too short a time but I'm traveling with my sister (instead of DH) and her time is limited. It would have been interesting to see the Canonization - oh well.

Its our second trip to Italy, and entirely different places from last time!

We are going to Rome on October 6th for eight days, on to Florence for three days, Venice for two days, and then on to Paris for five days, before heading back to Seattle on the 24th. I know those days don't add up, but I have not counted some travel days.

Hoping for good weather for all of us travelers!

Hi,

I will be in Sorrento with my 5 sisters on Sept. 30 and staying at a villa for 7 nights and then on to Rome for 2 nights. We all went to Rome after 9/11 and promised we would return to Italy..it was that great! Happy and safe traveling to all!
